WTB: Shoulder Rings

I'm working on a 3pO but cannot seem to find my shoulder rings, I've just recently moved so fairly sure I may have (or the wife) has trashed them. Looking for just a pair of shoulder rings. Resin or fiberglass, even ones that may need repairing would help.

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hi everyone, I'm Garth from Canada.I've always loved C-3PO and am hoping this site will give me the drive to finally build a wearable costume.I currently have a Stormtrooper, Tusken Raider, and just finished a Pre Vizsla costume. I'm hoping all the skills used to build those costumes will translate over to this build.I haven't worked with fibreglass much, more of an ABS and styrene kind of guy, but I'm always open to trying new materials and methods. As with many other members on here I am researching 3PO parts (ABS vs fibreglass) and am hoping I can start piecing together a costume soon. Can't wait to get started!

Re: Baxterianism's Build thread

Do you have a range near you only they sell wet shoes for £5.89 I'm finding these better than my Kung Fu shoes.I'm finding on my Kung Fu shoes my right foot does not fit in the right c-3po shell, there is a wide gap at the back.or I could order a size 7 this might sort it out,but the wet shoes feel much nicer to wear.

Re: Baxterianism's Build thread

Hockeytrooper.. I did sand and prep them first.Your only going to get as good as you give with VM.I sanded then primer then sanded more. Its lots of work but for the lower arm piece its sadly the only option we have at the moment. I had a load of hand pistons done too just as spares really.Just finished my Jim Sleeth Foot shells.Kung-Fu shoes on the inside with elastic to hold the shells down at the front.Next to my Moncal feet lined with insole pads for comfort.

I'm thinking of ordering some more in the polished finish instead of the standard (will be nice to have some back-up parts anyways)
