Reattaching the Backplate
If you did the removable backplate mod, how did you reattach it? I've seen some people do it with magnets, but how does one go about mounting the magnets/plates to the inside of the backplate itself (Not the back of the torso)? I read somewhere that someone had used cabinet hinges for this, but that's tricky too.
Show me how you think it works best!
Hoping to have 3PO finally done by this Halloween -- knock on wood...
Cheers,
Jordan

Re: Reattaching the Backplate
Magnets work, they will need to be imbedded into the backplate and back half so they are flush.
An easier, and i think more stable idea, is to mount a small screw into the back, at the top corners, left and right. Then make a keyhole slot on the back plate itself, so that it "Slips" over and slides down on the screw. This will hold it in place better.
Like this, only the orientation of the keyhole should be vertical, not horizontal
