If the head is fibreglass, it can be modified.

Re: Making a fiberglass helmet bigger???

I was told, that if you preheat an oven to 250 degrees, and bake the fiberglass piece for 1 minute, it can be SLOWLY reshaped, then shocked in cold water.
I am not willing to try this, however, because apparnetly the smell is hard to get rid of, and it sets off nasty fumes.
I wonder if putting it in a kiln would work?

I put the face in the oven as has been described at 250 for 2 minutes and slowly pulled it it outward, then set it in cold water, while holding it in position (so it doesn't shrink back.) Worked great, and there was no smell at all.

D3po2 & Chris (TK409)

Freaking geniuses!! It worked. No smell only the head itself. Wife was there in the Kitchen and didn't scream at me. I still need to figure out a few things. Like trying to still get the face to go inside the back plate without such a gap. I guess owning a scuba hood might help to as I have medium size Will Smith ears. It's the ears!! LOL!! Bondo a crack/break I did myself. (not bad it may actually help for what I need) It's where the side knobs go on the face part.
