Re: TK409 Protocol Project
I placed my order on March 9th and I'm predicting (based off of what I have seen on here as far as when people have gotten things) that I'll get my order sometime around Feb or March. That's just from my observations though. It is a long time, but looks like it is completely worth it (and currently some people are waiting over a year for TK armor from some suppliers!)

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
Are they well I never, when I placed my order for this it said up to twenty weeks so I think a bloody year is a piss take if got to wait that long I'm mean it takes a month to get a reply from emails, iv even started to build an R2 unit from scratch which will be ready before I even get my 3po armour let alone build it... Sorry but feeling very peed off at minute just hope it's worth the hassle..

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
I know that Chris's stuff is the best there is, and I do expect to wait a few months. But I do wonder why so much time has to pass before another set is sent out?
Fibreglassing is a tricky and time consuming job, I totally understand that, as I've done it myself. I don't want to add to the list of impatient customers but no progress on the list in haf a year with scant progress updates is understandably a bit annoying.

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
Okay, I'm going to do a bit of math (bear with me, I'm not great at it!)
I've worked with fibreglass, so I'm going to estimate production times...
a suit consists of 20 major parts: Torso (chest/back=2) legs (8), Arms (8) hands (counted as 2)
Each part will take about 3 days to make in fibreglass (laying, drying, trimming) - lets' give them a week. = 20weeks.
Final trimming, fixing, sanding and primering - another 2 weeks? = 22 weeks
Plus shipping from USA to UK = 4 weeks? 26 weeks.
I'd say that was fair, wouldn't you?

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
Seems reasonable to me. All I wanted were the arms- and I paid full up front- about nine months ago. Anyone else paid in full up front? Or am I the only dope...
