Re: TK409 Protocol Project
I am thinking since these pieces are Farmed out, there are other items on the list. If all they had to make was threepio armour, then it wouldnt take so long. Probably cant make a living off of it though.

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
I paid in full up front. I think everyone has to or you don't get on the list.
**Wouldn't it be a LOVELY Xmas gift for the queue to move up a place or two? I'd love to be #8 **

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
Hey guys, I'm sorry about the long waits. The number of people in line has always been lengthy. I know I wouldn't want to wait as long as some of you have. I want you to know I appreciate every order and all the enthusiasm you show toward my little project.
Unfortunately this isn't my job. I can't make my shop work faster without hiring more people and raising prices. Plus, please understand, the droid parts are not the only thing in the shop.
If you can sculpt and make your own parts faster - I encourage you to do so. It's a lot of fun and very satisfying.
I've analyzed the process and tried to cut time where I can. I'm just a guy with a family with a great day job and this parts supplying gig can at times be too much to do in my life. I'll continue to do it if I can. I'd love to share with you the process so you can see where the time is used, but that's my concern and not yours. Please know I've delivered on every single piece and people are pleased when they arrive.
I can't quit my job to do this full time. The day will come though when the project will become too high profile for Lucasfilm and Disney to continue to indulge us. Then it'll be over. For now, it's a side project to my real life. I'll try and make things go faster wherever I can. Thanks so much for your patience.

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
Thanks for the update Chris. Just having updates- even if it's just to say hello or something helps a lot. It lets us know the wheels are still in motion.
Thanks!

Re: TK409 Protocol Project
OK, will do. (although let me reiterate that my shop does not give progress reports - only ship dates).
