Accurate attachments for shoulders and shins?
Does anyone know how the screen used shoulders, shoulder rings and arms are attached?
And how the calf/shin shells are attached?
Thanks

Re: Accurate attachments for shoulders and shins?
Hey Kurty!
I'm not entirely sure how the rings were attached to the torso.
But, the screen used shoulders were attached to the rings with hinges. Here are some pictures where you can see evidence of this:

I was able to replicate this method on my 3PO, and it seems to be working quite well so far:
A square greeblie was also attached over the hinges to hide the screws:

The calf/shin shells were attached with hinges and pins. The two halves of the hinges would be lined up and a removable pin would hold them together. You can see this in these pictures:

It was also discussed this further in this thread:

Hope I have been some help!

Re: Accurate attachments for shoulders and shins?
Pity these cutouts were not included in the fiberglass castings.
It's a bit too late for me to add them now since I've already had my gear VM'd
