French Threepio

Hey Guys,
I just got back from a visit to Disney Paris. Listening to Threepio speaking in French on the Star Tours ride just sounded SO wrong!
Apologies to anybody reading this who is French by the way emoticon

I'm from Belgium (french speaker emoticon).

I think the C3PO voice in the Star Tour is made by Anthony Daniels emoticon.

The C3PO voice in the films are better (because of the accent of Anthony Danils, even if Daniel is a very good french speaker)

Hi, yes I agree! I do speak French and it did sound like Antony Daniels had recorded the voice over, you just don't get the fussy english butler feel to it that's all.
See ya

Sorry if it's not the good topic but I didn't want to polute the forum with a new topic!

You wrote about a french C 3PO.

Here what my parents discovered in a museum (about cinema, special effects, etc...) in French city (Lyon)

Unfortunatly, my parents didn't take pictures of it, just a short film. So I extracted some images:

I have no idea about this C 3PO but I think it's an original suit.

look closely and you'll see this suit is based partly on the Disney suit. Telltale are the upper arms details ( too wide), the collar is not accurate and the knees (again, too wide)although It's missing quite a few other detials, Nice looking replica. emoticon

This is a Golden Armor suit. You can tell by the belly button (he cuts it out so it's black inside) and his shin pieces, when displayed, are extremely tight at the ankle. The neck rings too. That's his Disney chest as well.

Ok, thanks for these informations!

It's very curious to see this kind of replica, here in France!
