Re: friends, romans, countrymen lend me your arms.
How did you solve the issue with one of the 'tabs' on the fiberglass arm not fitting correctly with the brass piston? (Assuming you got the Fenixprops pistons)

Do you mean the forarm tab? if so see the last part of the video,i removed the tab from the arm and fixed the piston tab with wire.I have found by fixing all the piston points in one position you loose very little movement in the arm and it gives the pistons a smooth ride ,also looking more dramatic with full postion extensions each way.Rather than snagging and catching with the tabs.

Re: friends, romans, countrymen lend me your arms.
i have not joined the fingers to the arns.I will be joining the fingers to the hand plate.I have brass details on the hand plate top which are held on with screws from the back.I will run hat elastic yellows reds etc from the screws on the back underside of the hand plates,to the fingers.the hat elastic is 1mm thick and looks just like wire exept it stretches like hell.Picture mo.
This is a mock up of what i am going to do.the hat elastic will be glued into the fingersrunning down the top inside.you can see the bolts/screws that hold the brass details on.The black one inch elastic is also bolted and holds the hand plate onto my hand which will have a silk thin black glove.I may also put the same one inch elastic round the wrist area.
This is just a mock up as i will not glue anything until its been vac metalized, but you get the idea.there are only three detail parts bolted so i will run two elastics from two of the bolts, probebly the outter bolts.
as a side note i will also use this hat elastic on my undersuit on the elbows back of legs etc.
