I left the back of my shorts really long and just trimmed the front. There are quite a few builders here who have cut their shorts down only to discover they were too short to cover the gap.

Yes iv just done that they were fine tight but fine so I trimmed them back and front now when I walk they ride up and the back side pops out.. Just been in the bin to try fibreglass them back on that or buy some gold pants LOL what are the rubber ones like and are they easy to come by..

Hi yes it is iv had to sharpen the profiles with milliput but the fit is far better than the other emoticon

Hi gang thought I would update my progress, iv primered and sanded smooth the whole costume and is know with the chrome painters will post more pictures when it arrives home.. =)

Keep going with the sanding a bit more. It'll be best when the reflections in the sanded surface are sharp. Glass smooth.

Looks great! What are you doing for the shoulder rings? Mine are PVC pipe that happened to be the correct diameter...

I used some abs strips curved to fit .. Here is the gold member going through his gold chrome paint process
