Vendor Feedback: Goldenarmor
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with the maker goldenarmor. They do a vacuform suit. I am only interested in the parts from the standpoint of building a threepio like chewy wears on his back on cloud city. So the parts do not have to be great. Just enough to be passable as the droid.
I've read somewhere in these threads comments about the quality. So I can tell from a wearable standpoint its not a good option.
But from a vendor standpoint, were they good to deal with? Such as did they give you an estimate on how long it would take and then meet that timeframe? Did you get the parts? or did you get swindled?... any info about the vendor would be great.
Thanks,

Re: Vendor Feedback: Goldenarmor
When I first started looking for all things 3PO I ordered some parts from them as I am good with plastic. Their service was good fast response with emails and the shipping was quick as well.
The parts however were diabolical never have I seen such rubbish for what I paid. I ordered torso, shoulder bells and arms . The torso took me weeks to get looking half decent the same with the arms .
If you are looking for a bag of 3po bits for chewy then this would do, but be prepared for some serious surgery to get them looking right.

Re: Vendor Feedback: Goldenarmor
The Chest and arms of my suit are GA. I ordered the whole suit, but ended up selling the legs because i needed them to be sturder when walking, etc. Their parts do take work to make wearable, and display. Again, i chose these to showcase my skill work with seams, details, etc. Plus, they are lightweight, which keeps most of the weight below my waist.
