GoldenGrill's Build Protocol (or is it Protocol Build?)

After 11 months of waiting, my box of C3PO goodies finally arrived.

First off, a big thanks to Chris (TK409). You responded to any emails I might've sent during the wait process and upon arriving, the parts exceeded my expectations. Shipping was professionally handled, all parts were wrapped securely in bubble wrap, with newspaper filler inside a large cardboard box with wooden frame. Shipped from the Phillippines, the package quickly arrived 7 days after the Parts Forum update showed that mine had shipped.

Yes. I'm 5'10", 200 lbs. There isn't a diet plan available that'll get me into this suit. hahah

My plan is to articulate the neck, shoulders, arms, torso and hips using servos. I also plan to include motion sensors for 3PO react to with the crowds during cons. And finally, I'd like him to be able to interact with R2 so they can carry a prescripted conversation. Initially, he'll just stand around and move his body and arms, but if I'm successful, I'd like to build a chair (think Endor) on wheels and have R2 pull him along.

I was at DisneyLand Star Tours a few weeks ago so I'm still riding high on the imagineers' work.

I'm still undecided on which color method I'll be using - vac metallize, paint and clear, or rub and buff.
