Will I fit into a C3PO costume?

Hello, I'm Scott from Australia! I'm currently working on a TD set of armour. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so I'm thinking of doing a C3PO as my second costume.

I'm aprox 182cm tall and weight about 70kgs. (I'm quite thin, but still not that old might bulk up in a year or so)
Can I pull off a C3PO?

I haven't done much research, but I know the suit is very specific to Anthony Daniels body size as far as I know but so many of you guys and others have done amazing costumes!! I've been looking into gordontarpley's blog and youtube channel a lot and I've found the information invaluable.

I'd be looking to probably do a ANH C3PO all weathered and busted up.

Thanks, this little forum looks like a very good resource!!
I'm also a member of the RPF, 405th and TDH forums.

Thanks again emoticon

Welcome to the forum, Scott!

I'm rather new here, myself, but I believe we're about in the same boat. You didn't mention exactly how old you are, but I'll assume you're probably a teenager, too. I'm fifteen, 5'6" (Which to you should be around 167cm) tall, and weigh around 105 Lbs (Roughly 47/48 kgs). You'll probably have an easier time than myself fitting into a suit, but given the wait times for most outfits (Not even including the time it takes to save your money, and sanding, chroming, etc...), is usually around a year. If you don't change too much, you should be fine. Threepios are generally ~5'6 to ~5'11". I don't know much to tell you for the weight, but you will eventually get a right idea. In my opinion; the closer to Anthony Daniels, the better -- Looking like a robot is tough!
