New from Sweden

Hi everyone!

I've been thinking about making a C-3PO costume for quite some time now, so I've been looking around a lot on this and other forums on how to get started and things like that.

So I have a few questions for you guys:
I am about 183cm tall and I have a waist diameter of about 77cm and a chest diameter of about 88cm(and overall pretty skinny), do you guys think I can fit in a C-3PO costume?
And if so, who's C-3PO kit would you recommend me to get?

Of course in the end, I want it to be the most accurate costume as possible, but I of course also want it to work properly! emoticon

Thanks for any info!! emoticon

Re: New from Sweden

Welcome, Axel!

Glad you made the decision to get with the protocol (pun intended)!

You build would seem to be about right, although you might be too tall. Most of us are around 5'6" to 5'10", our taller 3POs are about your size, though. You should be able to fit, providing that your legs can fit inside the shorts that fit inside the legs. You will more than likely have to make your belly wire girdle considerably longer, as to provide adequate means for complete coverage.
Right now, the best kit to go with is Chris Bartlett's. HOWEVER, there are some companies and individuals (including myself prospectively) that are beginning to make C-3PO kits. I currently know of three (separate) on-going projects. Chris' kit is right now the most accurate, with some modifications (the larger arms, specifically), but in a year, who knows who might be producing, ya' know?

Best of luck to you!
