Where to even start?!
Hi folks,
I've been very interested in this build for quite some time, and am looking to figure out how to do it. I'm a novice at building and want to learn, but I also want to make a C3PO build that is as high quality as possible.
I know this will take considerable time, but I'm not even sure where to start. Where would you all suggest starting on such an ambitious build? How do I even budget for something like this? Do I get something moulded, or do I try to 3D print it?

Hello there,before you even start,how good are you at fibeglassing.if you buy one don't expect to wear it straight out of the box,it will need to be made to your size.i know there are people who have 3d printed and plastic c-3po,I know of one person who has one.but most people go for a fibreglass one .are you wearing it or statue

I would definitely wear it! I have no experience in fiberglass or 3d printing, though I would love to learn either of these skill sets.
An additional question for budgetary concerns: what does the cost generally run for making something like this? I know it's going to be expensive, but just so I can start planning it would be helpful to get a ballpark answer.

Hi, G3PO.
I've currently shelled out around $4500 for my build so far. I will be posting my whole build on a thread in a bit, as I didn't update during my build. It should hopefully give you some idea of what to expect as far a labour and costs go.

Hey Piper!
I think I saw your build on the Rebel Legion page. You look fantastic!
If you have any process photos from along the way, I'd love to see them. Can you also tell me how you acquired the actual pieces? Did you make them yourself or did you have them ordered, and what material are they?
Phenomenal work from what I've seen and thanks for sharing thus far!
