Re: Foresttrooper's C3PO build

depends if you are going to get it Vac metalized, the surface just needs to be nice and smooth .I would always use 2000 + wet ,the bath and shower is perfect for this .The running water takes away the paint paste from the sanding / polishing process.

Re: Foresttrooper's C3PO build

Yes Pedge, the top section pops into the legs via two big metal pegs. It can't get any easier!

The dummy is approximately my sizes but I hope the legs and shorts sit a bit higher up. The gap is a bit big at the belly. I am 5ft 9" and may be a tad tall looking here. The dummy is approximately my height, well as close as I could get.

Yes reading your build, one step forwards three back, we are all doing that dance!! lol.

Your paint looks very shiney in the pics. Pm me your painting details please.

Okay, new head has been cast and is very nice, fits well, some more space, in fact I need to use a pad to keep it up.

My first "real" test fit was actually much more enjoyable than I expected.

Trying out my 3PO voice, if it can be heard over the clattering!
