Re: AlpineDarthMaul
Whats the best way to attach the little piston things that sit inside the square shape on the upper arm and the 2 near the elbow on the lower arm?

Maybe not the best way, but I used hotglue and they never fell off. I'd suggest also drilling a small hole and attaching with a small screw.

Re: AlpineDarthMaul
As some of you may have noticed... I got it done to a point where I can wear it. (I still have the outer arm pistons on the forearm to attach and the neck pistons to attach) But I was happy with the results of the rest of it.
Here are a couple pics of the final? suit.

Re: AlpineDarthMaul
So, my solution for the shorts worked like this...
With only one week till the parade event shown above, and with no word on the shorts I've been waiting forever for, and positive yet slow progress from other options. I was desperate.
I made my own...
It started with a basic casting of my midsection with plaster bandage...
Once I had that, on the same day I started sculpting. Within a few hours I had a smooth form to work with. And the following day I finished the sculpture. It was rough, but it wasn't going to be getting much better with the time frame I had to work in...
Once done with that, I spent one evening making a mold of the sculpture. I poured liquid latex (heavy mask style) into the mold the following day, let it dry overnite, and painted the shorts the night before leaving on the trip.
I plan to pour a new set of shorts after doing some detail work on the mold. (I need to sand the inside of it so that it is mirror smooth)
