They were too short for me length wise, Thus the gaps. They also cracked from the stresses put on them walking. I have been wearing the rubber shorts and while they are TIGHT they work MUCH better. And since I dont plan on vac plating mine I wont have to worry about the chipping on them as they are flexable. nondisclosed_email@example.com (D1AH)Sat, 07 Mar 2009 22:54:56 +0000 Re: the new pantshttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p2024,from=rss#post2024https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p2024,from=rss#post2024Are these shorts one or two parts? Its seems as if one piece would just look better, but getting into them MUST be a problem. lolnondisclosed_email@example.com (AlpineDarthMaul)Mon, 02 Mar 2009 20:27:11 +0000 Re: the new pantshttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p2001,from=rss#post2001https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p2001,from=rss#post2001I love you Mr Tea, you have given me hope. A temp fix till you work it out. Thanks for the tip!! I did buy some gold fabric for this kind of thing, but I went ahead and did the work of patching the gaps with more fiberglass. The shorts turned out pretty good.. they are just very tight! :P nondisclosed_email@example.com (Mr Tea)Fri, 13 Feb 2009 18:14:16 +0000 Re: the new pantshttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p1924,from=rss#post1924https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p1924,from=rss#post1924um, cracks? oh dear. nondisclosed_email@example.com (D3po2)Wed, 11 Feb 2009 10:54:47 +0000 Re: the new pantshttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p1923,from=rss#post1923https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p1923,from=rss#post1923I use an all in one shiny gold undersuit! A temp fix till you work it out. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Goldenrod)Sat, 27 Dec 2008 11:14:25 +0000 Re: the new pantshttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p1767,from=rss#post1767https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p1767,from=rss#post1767I was not happy with the new shorts. They do not fit into the thighs, they didn't fit me very well either. They left little room to move, and since they only screwed shut at the top, it was very easy for them to "pinch" near the legs and groin. They were also badly warped and did not fit together well. I did A LOT of heating with a head gun to get them to line up to each other. I had to cut down a large portion of the bottom (5-8 inches). I also cut quite a bit off each side to get them to fit into the thighs. I removed the flap and I fiber-glassed the two half's together, so now they slip on and are one piece. I'm still patching up my seam, but they work a lot better now. They still barely fit into the thigh pieces.. so they will be rubbing a lot. Here are some pictures of them in their current state: Careful not to cut to much off the inner thigh area like I did, otherwise your undersuit will show. To be honest, I feel defeated. Although they fit well on their own, once you try to add the thighs, things gets awkward. The guy on the right has "solved" it here, but I have to say, it was the first thing that drew my eye. Anyone want to share?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lukenukem)Fri, 26 Dec 2008 09:39:58 +0000
