hi brad
well what can i say mate, fantastic work, you've really done a great job on this project, what i like is the light effects, they really show of this project, and you've built this in such a short space of time, a video would be cool, but if you look in the reflection of the picture hanging in your pic, you can see the light effects, good work brad, look forward to your next post
all the best
colin

OK Big news--
I have got my first commition from Ron Shuster to build a one of a kind alcove for his buisness. This will be a far cry from the first one and have a small vidio screens with advaced ipod intrigration and remote capabilities.
This will be epic and hope to get done within a month or 2. I will be showing progress on in this thread for this project! Stay tuned!

Re: Star Trek Borg Alcove Locutis

Ok from the start:
 Base unit with vertical access(holes).
This base is beefy because of the traffic it will see at Rons place so it needs to be safer for general access. 2x4 base with 3/4 mdf.. The origianl was 1/4 in ply with 1x2 skirts.
People will be standing in the Alcove so best to make it strong .Having fun at 12 am building!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
