 Introduce Yourself!
Hey folks, welcome to the new home of the C3poBuilders. Tell us a little about yourself and post a pic if you like.
about me: The C-3PO I wear is actually one of 4 that I've built or owned. Other costumes I own include a Sandtrooper, Boba Fett, Tusken Raider, and a couple Jawas. I'm a video game artist for Epic Games (Gears of War, Unreal Tournament III) and I'm married, with 3 kids in North Carolina.

Hey Gang!
My name is Michael Smith.Happily married with 3 daughters living in Florida. I work for Knight Dental Lab. Been a dental tech for 13 years now. I know most all of these guys and for some time now and consider them like brothers. I'm a long time member of the 501st and love it. My id is TK1314.
C-3po has always been Star Wars for me. Don't get me wrong R2, Vader, Fett and Stormtroopers, Han Solo, Luke, Chewie are great to but theres always been something about 3po thats always stood out for me. The design of the costume along Anthony's voice and performance make 3po one of the most rememberable characters of all 6 of the films.
Been working on my 3po it seems forever. I've had various different 3po kits over the years and TK409's 3po wearable kit/suit is the best hands down, well until we can liberate the real one that is;-) LOL!
I promise to share pics soon;-)
BTW i love the new look!

Hello! My name is Michael McMaster, I live in Terra Bella, California. I have been building droids since 2002, and have built an R2-D2, one of Chris Bartlett's awesome 3P0 kits(metalized). I am married, have three kids and I am currently working on my second R2-D2 as well as an R4-P17. Below is a pic of my 3P0 suit along with Michael Senna's R2-D2.

Hi,
My name is Brad Carpenter and I am a Star Warsaholic.
I am a 37 year old kid with three kids of my own and have been building models since the age of 7 and graduated to life size in 2004.
Curentley I have a black Protocol droid (I-3PO), Deathstar droid and a B-9 robot from Lost In Space.
My love for Star Wars has gotten disturbing so I exspanded my building to include all robots,droids and cyborg hybrids.
I have built a Predator costume and a Jango Fett and owned a Robocop costume that now is in the Robot Hut Museum.
Now I have 4 new projects in verrious stages: Locutis of Borg (in alcove display), R5.5 astromech, and K-3PO on Hoth
( destroyed on console display), cylon centurion the 80's.
My progress is hit and miss to say the least with long lag times between (Duhhhhhhh time) as I call it.
Hope to learn from everyone and also hope to contribute to the collective.
NOW BUILD SOMETHING!

Howdy...My name is Jason Smith, and I'm from Fort Worth Texas...
I've been a member of the R2 Builders group since 1999, and coordinated our displays at C2 and C3...I was also involved in the preliminary planning of C4 before handing it off to a friend.
I've always wanted believed that I would eventually have a 3P0 to go along with R2...But since I still don't have an R2 of my own, it seems like that might still be a little while off...hehehe...
Currently I am knee deep in a life-size landspeeder project that I hope to wrap up this month...After that I will probably start working on a couple of well known droids to ride on the back of it
