Re: 3d Printed Parts

I'm RECHECKING some parts...
a few that didn't get flagged printed incorrectly. I got some new software that will help me do some final checks on the models before they get uploaded.

I did some screen shots to show the insides of a few of the Hollow and Semi Solid models....

This part, hollow forearm large greelbie, printed in two pieces because of flipped faces on one half (marked in red)

Solid models should still be good. double checking all the hollow and simi solid models over the next few days....

Re: 3d Printed Parts

A fellow builder purchased some parts and the Hollow forearm greelbie showed up in two pieces. BUT not where I expected based on the new software I'm using to check the files.

The issue was something the auto-check wouldn't find to be a problem. I would have no idea about if it weren't for builder feedback so if you have any comments on parts, good or bad always let me know so I can make improvements.

a new versions of the parts should be uploaded today.

Re: 3d Printed Parts

They vary depending on the build. I'm trying to do a Solid, Semi Solid, and Hollow version of each part. They'll all look the same on the outside but have different amounts of material on the inside to help control cost.

The hollow parts are cheapest but they'll need some reinforcing to keep them from being too flimsy.

There should be a link to the Shapeways store on in the first post. I've disabled a few versions of parts while i do some adjustments to the geometry but they'll be back up there soon.
