Re: 3d Printed Parts

Gordon I have a source for brass arm pistons and othernbits and I reckon I can supply these to anyone on here at a cheaper price than I have seen around what I need is a drawing of these is this something you could supply as my friend would need this for CNC machine to price them up time wise he said if not we could take dimensions from the ones you have supplied of course this will only be done with your consent. If given the go ahead I will post these up for you guys to look at once we made the first off. I'm doing this coz iv seen some around online and they are mega bucks (rip off) and feel they can be done cheaper

Wow..I am totally amazed over the details and the quality of your modelling skills! These parts look simply incredible! I will definitely buy these as soon as I recover from the spray chroming costs.

- Gordon, you make it looks so easy!

Re: 3d Printed Parts

My last order wasn't complete delivered. There was a wall problem with the part. The walls are to thin.
Here are the two parts:
- C3PO Bicep Greeble V1 SEMI SOLID
- C3PO Forearm Small Greeblie Inner HOLLOW

Is it possible that you fix the problem ?

Thanks.

Yes. Working on fixing them as time allows. Work plus multiple freelance projects and trying to get Threepio finished before CIV is taking a huge bite out of my free time.
Once they're fixed and re-uploaded I'll make an official post here.

Gordon,

I've been looking for the Forearm Piston/arm detail as well as the greeblies that go near the elbow and in the bicep detail, and restraining bolt mount.
And ear/helmet knobs.

Are all of these available yet?

Re: 3d Printed Parts

Hey guys, been chasing around rejected parts like a mad man. Had pretty good luck with the fixes but a few parts still getting rejected here and there. Some of the smaller parts I'm going to discontinue in the hollow versions since there isn't enough savings to justify the trouble.

On a good note, a few new parts finished and made the cut with the printer

I'll be making a video tonight or tomorrow for my blog and added lots more photos to the GT Props facebook page HERE
