Re: 3d Printed Parts

I just purchased a set of leg pistons and they came in fine. I got ones WITHOUT the mounting blocks though. I've fixed the others too but I'm not sure if they've been ordered yet.
HERE is a photo of one of the new ones.

For the lower forearm, I'm assuming you're talking about the larger greeblie. I had one rejected on my last order so I did an adjustment (again...) to the model and reordered, hopefully it'll make it though this time. They can actually print them in Europe too so shipping to the UK will be pretty cheap.
THIS is the one I just ordered for myself.

Check back with me in a few days and I'll let you know if the model made it though. I know other people have purchased these but it's been hit-or-miss with the old version. Hopefully my latest tweaks will cure it.

Check the link HERE

Price should be at the right. It changes depending on what material you choose. I've been using the white strong flexible with good results and it's also one of the cheaper materials which is handy.

Added an update to my blog with some of the new parts I received over the last few days.

Hey matthew, I've just been getting the "white strong flexible" it's cheap and it holds up really great. gets really smooth with some primer too. I'll post a photo of a primed part shortly.

ALSO!!!
Updated hand pistons with the studs for flexible hands are HERE

There's a short review in my last blog post. Even without glue they stay in place really nicely.

No idea. They're pretty strong plastic so I'm assuming they would be OK. If resin parts hold up to the process I'm sure the printed parts would too.
BUT you may want to contact and/or send a sample to the company doing your metalizing to find out for sure. They might already know.

Any idea when solid forearm greebles are going to be available? Will these involve mounting a small bar inside to join them?

Thanks for your fantastic work so far
