I've not had a chance of field testing this yet, but so far, it looks and feels pretty secure.. I use velcro, and the shoulder ring is connected to the shoulder using a hinges, some "hooks"-stuff I found at the hardware store and elastic bands. nondisclosed_email@example.com (littledragon88)Sun, 20 Oct 2013 11:04:46 +0000 Re: Shouldershttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7659,from=rss#post7659https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7659,from=rss#post7659Great pictures,it's really good to different see all your great work.nondisclosed_email@example.com (matthew007)Tue, 08 Oct 2013 16:38:23 +0000 Re: Shouldershttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7658,from=rss#post7658https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7658,from=rss#post7658 I will at some point add a sim cover over the ring to hide the hinge. The felt works really well almost feels like a bearing...... Hope this helps guysnondisclosed_email@example.com (Darthpedge)Tue, 08 Oct 2013 08:34:19 +0000 Re: Shouldershttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7657,from=rss#post7657https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7657,from=rss#post7657OK heres what I did... I made two collars out of thin steel one that fits inside the other and lined them with felt. The ring fits inside the two collars which are held together with magnets. I then added magnets inside torso armpit area and removed the lip that held the resin ring as the new collar replaces this. On one of the collars iv also fixed two location pins the idea is that the complete shoulder bell unit licks into place..nondisclosed_email@example.com (Darthpedge)Tue, 08 Oct 2013 08:27:44 +0000 Re: Shouldershttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7656,from=rss#post7656https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7656,from=rss#post7656Great work Gordon and thanks for sharing.. Like Gordon said the bearing fitting is the way forward iv made my own type of housing that works like a bearing which is held in place with strong earth magnets I will post some pictures up of the process I used. =)nondisclosed_email@example.com (Darthpedge)Tue, 08 Oct 2013 07:27:35 +0000 Re: Shouldershttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7643,from=rss#post7643https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7643,from=rss#post7643Your video are allways helpful,. hope this helps someone else outnondisclosed_email@example.com (matthew007)Thu, 03 Oct 2013 19:23:33 +0000 Re: Shouldershttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7631,from=rss#post7631https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7631,from=rss#post7631Hey Matthew, I know you already saw this but I figured putting it here might be helpful to other people as well. nondisclosed_email@example.com (GordonTarpley)Mon, 30 Sep 2013 19:35:36 +0000 Shouldershttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7585,from=rss#post7585https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p7585,from=rss#post7585Hello everyone just wonderd how everyone keeps there shoulders on.my right one stays on but the other falls of.pictures would be if anyone got any.thanksnondisclosed_email@example.com (matthew007)Tue, 10 Sep 2013 19:14:54 +0000
