You need 2K primer which is a primer with a catalyst. nondisclosed_email@example.com (starbuckcylon)Fri, 08 May 2015 14:07:44 +0000 Coat of Chrome Paint/Prephttps://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p8370,from=rss#post8370https://bc3pobuilders.runboard.com/p8370,from=rss#post8370Hello, I have been talking with Don at Coat of Chrome for my 3PO suit. He quoted me $3500 for the prep and paint. I was planning on prepping all of the parts myself but he recommended me not to as there is specific primer that needs to be used. As much as I'd like to save money by doing the prep work and be able to say I did all of the work, I want it to be done right. Does anyone have experience with Coat of Chrome and have prepped their own parts? What has to be done with parts before they get sent for paint? Thanks for any help you can give me!
