Spray Chroming Urethane?

So, for those of you who used spray chrome on your suits, did you apply a primer to the urethane parts (hands & feet) or leave them in their natural state? I would expect to apply a primer, but I'd like to ask before I make a mistake in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks for your input!

I did not have the hands and feet chromed, instead i used a Gold leaf foil found at Joanns. Its less expensive to touch up. I was concerned the spray chrome would crack and peel.

This primer works great. Its for plastic flowers. You can get it at Micheal s Crafts.
